HTA Auctioneers was established in 1983 and has been a market leader in the South African auction industry ever since, specialising particularly in the agricultural sector.

Our offices are situated in Bloemfontein, Corner R64 and Valencia Road Waterbron, and we are able to service a large part of South Africa. We primarily conduct our business in the Free State, Northern Cape and North West Provinces.

Our Leadership Team

Our team led by Adv Chalale is comprised of seasoned professionals, with extensive experience in auctioneering.

Client Base

We do work on behalf of all four of the major banks in South Africa. We further do similar work for most of the major agricultural corporations in our area. We also attend upon a large number of insolvency auctions and enjoy strong relationships with a number of liquidators at various law firms in the Free State, Northern Cape and North-West Provinces. Lastly, and most significantly, we have a strong database of loyal buyers whose trust we have gained over 20 years.

Our Services

1. Auctioneering Services

We conduct the following types of auctions:

Insolvency Auctions: We distinguish ourselves from our competitors primarily as a consequence of the fact that we are able to take control of estate assets and manage the said assets effectively for the benefit of the estate up and until the date of the auction.
Stop Farming Auctions: Our experienced team is able to provide clients with accurate, market related valuations, backed up by effective marketing.
Property Auctions: Include farms, commercial, industrial and residential property. Where possible we conduct our property auctions on site, since in our experience this method yields the best results for our sellers.
Game and Livestock Auctions: We are experienced in the conducting of livestock auctions and all facets related thereto.

2. Valuation Services

We do valuations and taxations on instruction from curators of insolvent estates, as well as valuations of deceased estate assets and valuations for litigation and arbitration proceedings.
